Dr. Ed McMahon has been awarded $11,100 from the Lawrence D. Miles Value
Foundation to enhance the curriculum of the Value Analysis and Design
course -- an Industrial Engineering course offered in UTC's Engineering
Magement graduate program..

Grant support will enable Dr. McMahon to receive instructional training and
on-going consultation from value methodology experts that will enable him
to incorporate value methodology theory into UTC's Engineering curriculum.
Dr. McMahon also will receive instructional materials and training aids, as
well as materials to establish a resource library.

This award represents the first grant UTC has ever received from the
Lawrence Miles Value Foundation.  Please join us in congratulating Dr.
McMahon on this recognition.
