The next Chattanooga Writers Guild meeting is coming up in a week, don't
miss it!
When: Tuesday, November 12th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: UTC Faculty Club (Patten House) at the corner of Oak and Palmetto
Who: Poet Jeff Daniel Marion will read from his lastest book
More about the author and reading:
Jeff Daniel Marion grew up in Rogersville, TN, and has a Bachelor of
Science and an MA in English from University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
After 35 years of teaching, he retired from Carson-Newman College where he
taught creative writing and was Poet in Residence and Director of the
Appalachian Center. He has recently published poems in The Southern
Review, The South Carolina Review, Tar River Poetry, Poet Lore, Poem,
Appalachian Journal, and Appalachian Heritage. He has published seven
collections of poems as well as four chapbooks and a children’s book.
He will read from his book Ebbing & Flowing Springs: New and Selected Poems
and Prose. Books will be for sale.
