G'Day, Robert!  This is intended to be an ongoing series eventually moving
into the more esoteric aspects of rigging.  However, and just like diving,
it begins with the basics.  You, for example, don't consider the reef
(square) knot a basic!  I, on the other hand, consider it the very essence
of what rigging is all about!  :-)
