Football is an interesting one.

In most places it is played by kicking a ball with your foot - whereas in
the US the foot hardly comes into it at all and the ball is not even 'ball'
shaped, but made a more convenient oval shape for carrying.

In Oz it is even more confusing as football is a term used for Rugby League,
Rugby Union, Football (Soccer) and Aussie Rules 'Football'.

The Irish also seem to be going off the rails with this one too !
