we had a similar problem. 
are you using telnet or ns/vt from your reflection sessions? 
our problem surfaced only from telnet sessions, if telnetting vs. 
ns/vt-ing makes any difference for you, i'll try to dig up some more 
information (basically it was our application misbehaving in vplus in a 
way for which ns/vt and serial connections didn't mind, but telnet 
did...)
