   Another supplier of parts for HP laser printers is the Printer Works,
www.theprinterworks.com

  However Canon ceased making spare parts for the Canon SX engine
(used in many early laser printers) earlier this year.
  Some third party parts have been made but I have seen criticisms
of their quality in the newsgroup comp.periphs.printers.

  I wonder how many printers sold today will still be serviceable,
and will need service parts in thirteen years :-)
