By the way, I have just compiled the latest zlib, zip and unzip
versions from the respective web sites (in case the versions at
the above URLs should not be sufficient for some reason... but
I cannot image such a reason at the moment ;-)

( original sites are www.zlib.org and www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/ )

Haven't uploaded the results to a web site, but can mail them
if someone should feel a pressing need. (these tools are another
example why Posix on MPE is more useful than Wirt suggests ;-)
