It will continue to get worse, too!

  I strongly recommend the immediate purchase of my indestructable IBM 026
printing keypunch, 088 sorter, 083 collator, and 407 card eater.  80-column
Hollerith cards can be read directly by a slightly trained chimp, and they
don't become unreadable because a floor polisher was in the vicinity.
Further, very little extraneous data goes into their limited capacity, and
as long as they don't get wet, they'll last nearly forever.
