The Spanish film series presents:

Golpes a mi puerta / Knocks at My Door

Venezuela, color, 105 min, NR
October 29th at 8:15pm in Brock 201.

This 1993 film by Alejandro Saderman is based on the play by the Argentinian
playwright Juan Carlos Gené.

Compared to the political drama, Official Story, Knocks at My Door explores
the process of human commitment, both ethical and spiritual, which two nuns
maintain in a society where relationships between social classes, history, and
models of development clash, often resulting in war and revolution.

This film was shown at the 1995 Human Rights Watch Festival in New York.
