Christine Kane, a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter is coming to UTC
on Oct. 10, 1:40 to 2:55 p.m., Roland Hayes Hall in the UTC Fine Arts
Center.
Kane has been twice featured at Riverbend, she is a regular at Rhythm &
Brews and she performs in music festivals nationwide. She has released
four albums.
This engaging public speaker and talented musician will speak on the topic,
"Getting a Job is Boring: Get a Life Instead. A Few Thoughts on Careers,
Faith, and Dreams."
This event is co-sponsored by the Women's Studies, Music and Communications
departments, as well as the Speakers & Special Events Committee. It is open
to all UTC students and staff, as well as to the general public.
