Impressive and very upbeat tone (in a major key, one
might say -- musically speaking -- as a warm-up for
HP World's six (yes, *six*) "keynote" speeches :-)

NOTE (pun intended?) please: "Upbeat" has many levels
of meaning in this context. Hint: "To mark or count
(time or rhythm) with the hands or with a baton."
Hint: "Metronome-like." Hint: "Clock-like."

Even more impressive was the sudden transition to a
familiar -- and very somber -- minor key at the very end:

This news release contains forward-looking statements that
involve risks, uncertainties and assumptions. All statements
other than statements of historical fact are statements that
could be deemed forward-looking statements. Risks,
uncertainties and assumptions include the possibility that
the market for the sale of certain products and services may
not develop as expected; that development of these products
and services may not proceed as planned; and other risks...
... If any of these risks or uncertainties materializes or
any of these assumptions proves incorrect, HP's results
could differ materially from HP's expectations in these
statements. HP assumes no obligation and does not intend to
   update these forward-looking statements.

Oh, well.

Reviewing the circle of fifths with my 16-year-old son, I
remain harmoniously yours,
