check out this map: http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt=Tmap&addr=9300+S+Wadsworth+Blvd&city=Littleton&state=CO&csz=Littleton,+CO+80128-6958&slt=39.556404&sln=-105.083481&mlt=39.523972&mln=-105.083481&zip=80128-6958&country=us&BFKey=&BFCat=&BFClient=&mag=7&cs=9&name=&desc=&off=s&poititle=&poi=&ds=g It shows the Denver area segment of State Highway 121 heading south from C-470 to the Lockheed-Martin Waterton site. This route provided a couple of police B4C Camaro owners the opportunity to exceed 125 twice in each direction. One of us used to do it almost daily, in each direction. This is a four-lan, divided highway. One must slow to 90 around the major bend for three reasons: 1) you loose some gravity coming over the high ground at the curve, 2) you can't see police around the corner, 3) there are a lot of deer in the area. I can tell you that 70mph to 120 mph was about 12 seconds in this vehicle, which was not even blessed with the power of the LS1 motor. these police Camaros had the same motor as the same year Z-28. Actually, mine was constrained to about 125 because it had a rebuilt tranny, without the proper 4th-gear full-throttle kit. Punching it at high speed would cause a shift-down to 3rd gear, possibly over-revving the motor. -dtd
