Just a follow-up note on this duplicate records for unique keys.

The application vendor never intended to allow field 2 to have more than one
unique entry. Maybe they should have placed that field before field 1 when
designing this KSAM, however, no matter what I did I could not get the new
KSAM file to allow me to enter duplicate information from the original KSAM
when built the way the old one was.

So my resolution for the time being is to remove the duplication and resize
the file using a SUPRTOOL to remove the duplicate keys before outputting the
data to the new size ksam file. Meanwhile I wrote a little report to let me
know if this happens again so I can notify my application developer and
hopefully find out what is causing this.

Meanwhile, while I am on a role of data duplication, I also found duplicated
unique primary key information in a detail image dataset - needless to say
we are also cleaning this up and writing another report to find out what is
doing this (my thinking is the Cobol code has some bugs - but who is to
say).

Thank you all for the help,
Cat
