The 'incredible' part on the above statement is that we are being asked to
believe that HP made that decision in a matter of about 2 months. In that
span of time they worked out all the ramification that such a decision
implied (In the middle of the 9/11 disaster to boot).
The 'OpenMPE' issue, however, has been under consideration for over 9 months
without any substantial commitment from HP (Only a number of surveys, to
'pacify' the users?).
