I had a couple questions about the duplicating data. What this means is in
field 1 for 8 bytes (1-8) I have dates called PAT-ADM-DATE-8 which is a
repeating primary key. In Field 2 for another 8 bytes (9-16) I have a
unique key called PAT-ACCT-NBR.
This is an example of what this data looks like for the 1st 16 bytes:
Field 1 Field 2
20020901 90054989 *
20020901 90078232
20020901 90087621 *
20020901 90042378
20020901 90068231
20020902 90054989 *
20020902 90087621 *
20020902 90055723
20020902 90061423
* As you can see field 2 has repeating values but not within the date field
but within the ksam file.
Thank you for the help,
Cat
