To UTC Faculty and Staff:
I am pleased to report to you that the Computing Accreditation Commission
of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology has voted to
award initial accreditation to two programs in UTC's Department of Computer
Science: the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with an
Information Systems concentration, and the Bachelor of Science degree in
Computer Science with a Scientific Applications concentration.
Congratulations to the students, faculty and staff in both of these
programs. This recognition is yet another indication of the high quality of
academic programs available at UTC.
