The University Curriculum Committee will accept proposals for next
year's catalog through Reading Day, December 3. This continues the policy
set by last year's committee.

An updated cover sheet may be found at our website,
http://www.utc.edu/~curricul/
This form is currently available as a MS Word document that may be saved to
your computer and printed. In the near future, we will also have the cover
sheet as a PDF file. Please destroy any old copies of cover sheets that you
may have. If you have already begun the process of submitting a proposal
using an old cover sheet, you may continue to use it; otherwise, please use
the new one.

The Curriculum Guidelines are being modified and should soon be
available at the same web address. If you view the document and it appears
to be a draft with strikethroughs and so on, please send me an email and I
will send you a current copy. Among several clarifications, committee
members have attempted to give some guidance on how to address the affect
of the proposal on the initiating department and on other departments. We
are also asking that all proposals with completed cover sheets be submitted
to the Provost's Office in electronic form. Remember that printed forms
should be printed on both sides and paginated so that the Committee and
Faculty Council may easily refer to various sections of the proposal.

If you have any questions regarding these guidelines, please contact
me and I will do what I can to help.
