...which reminds me. One of the guys on the weekend's trip was more than a
little miffed to discover that while he had been away working in New
Zealand his wife had gone for a dive down the south coast & had spent a
fair part of the dive with a dolphin - a pretty rare event over here.
Anyhow, we all kidded him that there was a dolphin hanging around the area
where we were diving on Sunday.
Sure enough, as we came up the line ready to hang around for 11 mins deco I
pointed to the surface & he could make out the shape of a dolphin on the
surface - about 8' long & had taken ages to inflate, it had also apparently
been pretty difficult to clip on to my SMB as we we diving :-)
