I've only quoted a fragment (!), but you can see what's gone wrong.
Funnily enough, I could read the original perfectly.
What's your mail client, John? Your headers give no clue.
But if it's Outlook or Outlook Express, look up OE-Quotefix on the web
for a wonderful free product that will deal with this.
(Not a <plug> as I have no financial interest in OE-Quotefix).
