Absolutely wrong. In the late '70s it absolutely was a superior technology
to every thing else on the market. This is how I got involved in the first
place.

Come on. Perhaps at least some are neither afraid nor unable to learn, but
unwilling to spend countless hours and dollars with no ROI.
