One further note on this for those planning on upgrading to 7.0 - although I
upgraded with the Express 1 powerpatch. I also needed the reactive patches
for predictive (as mentioned by a few others). I have now put the reactive
patches in place and everything is looking good.

I also am recommending to users going from 6.0 to 7.0 they read the notes on
6.5 because the changes for SYSDIAG tools can be significant especially if
you use predictive. The CSTM, STM and MSTM that replace SYSDIAG are just
enough different and the rules for using them have change enough that it is
not as intuitive as tools were in the past (or maybe they are just that much
more robust that they are not as straight forward as the SYSDIAG).

Another note that both CSTM and PSCONFIG took over 10 minutes to activate
the 1st time dependant on the amount of drives and other devices on the
system being upgraded this could be shorter or longer time.

HP was unable to find any Predictive User's guide online. Part #
50779-90012. However, they recommended following documents on the ITRC site:

KBRC00010216 STM and System Performance : Issues, Fixes and Recommendations
KBAN00000289 MPEiX 6.5 and Predictive
KBRC00002625 MEMSCAN(130B) on MPE iX 6.5 - Occurs when network is not up

Thank you all for your help,
Cat
