I agree with Brenda.  Carly was/is just responsible for destroying the
value of Hewlett_Packard Company as a whole, and had no time to think about
killing the HP3000 and the loyal customer base that it had.  I seriously
doubt that she has given the HP3000 question any thought at all.

The decisions to kill the HP3000 were based on a long series of acts (or
failure to act) over many years by middle management at, or slightly above,
the division level.  The seeds of destruction were being sown long before
Carly came on the scene.
