I didn't read that as a statement about the place in society of women in
general, but rather as wishful thinking about a particular case - sort of
like those discussions of what a different place the world would be if Fidel
Castro had been picked up by the Pirates in 1947, or if Adolph Hitler had
gained admission to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in 1908.
No specific comparison of these persons is intended.
