elang,
Do other people besides yourself have access to NMMGR?
It is a well-known 'feature' af MPE that you may walk around in NMMGR
just checking - and upon exiting - NMMGR claims that data have been
modified. (Which, in fact, may be true).
As you probably know by now, you can continue to reboot - but without
your DTCs etc.
However, you will be able - from the console - to validate the config
in NMMGR and then reboot IF and ONLY IF you are sure, nothing has been
changed. If you're not shure, you should restore the config from backup
and then reboot.
Can't help you with last last question. We use HP locally and they
(still) perform quite satisfactory.
/With kind regards Hans-Ole Kaae, ScanConsult.
