1) DBXBEGIN causes a system failure if multiple data base access paths are
used. The system failure does not occur if only one data base access path is
specified. There is a patch to fix this system failure bug but I don't
remember the patch ID. However, every time you upgrade to a new level of
MPEiX or upgrade the power patch you must reinstall this patch as the patch
is not included in any upgrade to the OS or patch level (for example, 6.5
Powerpatch 2 to 6.5 powerpatch 3).

2) Dynamic expansion works great on detail sets. Not so on masters. If you
have added MDX to master sets the userlabel in each master gets corrupted,
the free space counters, highwater mark etc are being incremented/updated
incorrectly. This problem has caused program aborts left and right on my
system (917LX) so my only recourse was to take away MDX.

I doubt very much that HP will fix this problem anytime soon, if they ever
do.

Brian.
