We have some HPVectra-VL6 series 6 (HP D5044N) PCs, PentiumII, 266Mhz, 128M
ram, 4Gb disk
and some HPVectra-VL6 series 7 (HP D5728N) same other stuff, which we
bought new from HP a few years back with WindowsNT 4.0 SP6 installed.

They're just sitting now, so wethinks cheapie Linux web servers. Tried
RedHat 7.3 & got 2 weeks worth of headaches. Is this unrealistic, or are we
just suffering from Linux-newbie disease? Can anyone recommend a Linux that
will run on them? Finding lots of posts saying HP machines & Linux don't
mix well, dunno what to trust.
