I don't have AMISYS, and would move to Cleveland. I have been trying to break into the AMISYS world. I agree - all the AMISYS shops seem to think they can get good HP3000 programmers with 5 or more years AMISYS, but recruiters tell me they are having great difficulty doing so. Only the AMISYS shop in my local has been willing to gove me credit for ability to produce in an AMISYS environment, but, alas, I was "first runner up". Same story lately for COGNOS/PowerHouse (hey, I've read the manuals, and PowerHouse should be a BREEZE after Speedware. Credit Unions? They all seem (lately) to say Credit Union (SUMMIT) experience is A MUST.. Remember when employers gave candidates credit for being able to learn something new? I don't blam them for wanting fully qualified consultants, but for FTE slots I think they should bite the bullet on the (short) learning curve. -dtd (opinions expressed are my own, 'cause I don't have an employer!)Dave [log in to unmask] do not receive email at this address. Please remove the string ".removethispart" from the below address to email me:[log in to unmask] On Wed 07/31, Jonathan M.
