It always seems to me that these Amisys shops require too much in the
way of qualifications. How many HP3000/Cobol programmers out there have
any experience
with Amisys?

Seen the jobboards recently, pal???  Whilst I was 'between contracts' I
was amazed by the incredible requirements posted....6months experience
on products introduced 7months earlier, HP3k w/COBOL, RPG, Assembler,
Amisys, crocheting experience (OK, that I made up).

Point being....welcome to....Buyer's Market...employers know about the
great unwashed masses currently on the beach and have successfully
exploited it.

Here's to the day <soon I hope> that the worm turns.
