Can't ping HP3k through VPN
Here is my problem/question:
I have created a VPN from a remote client to our LAN's Firewall/VPN device.
I can successfully ping and access LAN resources from the remote client.
However I can't ping our HP3000 nor can I use Reflections from WRQ to
access the HP3000 - which is the whole purpose of our creating the VPN
remote client access. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why I can't
ping/access the HP3000 through the VPN tunnel when I can ping the HP3000
from computers on the LAN behind the Firewall/VPN device?
Specifics:
We are using a SonicWall Firewall/VPN device and using the SonicWall client
software installed on Microsoft XP Professional. The client PC has a fixed
IP address but is behind a DSL sharing router running NAT. We are running a
Microsoft NT Server 4 domain over Ethernet using TCP/IP and NetBEUI. The
HP3000 is running MPEi/x 6.0.
