 fcopy from=*(file eq to file on other
system);to=testfile;new;subset=7001:7001

 if finfo("testfile","eof") > 0

...

Hi all,

I need to get the EOF of a file on a remote box, so I can decide what action
to take on the local box, but can't seem to figure it out...any help would
be great.

REMOTE IF FINFO("ZAP","EOF") > 7000      ends up giving me the true
condition, but the true condition is on the remote box, and I need it to be
on the local box.

I've tried all sorts of variations on this theme, and I recall being able to
do something to this effect several years ago, but....
