what, no free refills? [consider for a moment most restuarants, fast food or
otherwise, are charging upwards of $2 for a "drink" -- they're counting on
you not wanting many refills...]

A litre is 33.some-odd ounces -- the "quick conversion" is "1 quart" [at 32
ounces]

closer conversions [found at a convenient internet "unit converter site"]
reveals:
  1 litre = 33.814 ounces
  1 quart = .946 litres
1 gallon = 3.78 litres [call it 3 and 3/4's for a more accurate "quick
conversion" than 4-1]
  1 litre = .264 gallon
