It is a given that bills travel much faster than checks !

-------------------------------------------------------------
The fastest bills and slowest checks are those involved in the mortgage
industry. Only this industry could cause bills to come across town to me
overnight, but my check back to the same place take days and weeks resulting
in late fees.

Maybe it uses the same travel mechanism utilized by Santa Claus, the Tooth
Fairy, and the Easter Bunny.
