Actually, I meant "license" as opposed to "warranty".  I find it quite
acceptable for a manufacturer to say: "We're not responsible if someone
else's widget makes the gizmo you bought from us fail."  However, I find
it unacceptable for them to say: "If you try to use someone else's
widget in this gizmo you bought from us we'll see you in court."
