Of course HP will blow a lot of smoke in the air threatening a warranty will be voided if you do this but I say the first cartridge will outlast their 90 warranty so what difference does it make. Ah but in our wonderful world where everything is patented, you cannot
legally do this. Thus HP has a monopoly on HP-compatible ink cartridges
enforced by our government.
This also stops anyone from INVENTing a much higher capacity cartridge.
FYI: HP has ceased manufacturing ink cartridges for some older printers -
guess what this does to the users of these printers?
