Michael - Thanks for the input.  That is exactly what I tried first.  I
ultimately put in a call to HP Support and they are the ones that
recommended the reboot NORECOVERY option.  All I can say is - it worked.
Why is a mystery to be solved at a future date.  Right now, production
and shipping are happy campers again.
