What HP doesn't seem to cotton to yet is that they *can't* force anyone to buy
HP-UX. They seem to have the idea that the legendary MPE-users loyalty is
loyalty to anything with the initials "HP" and that if they get rid of MPE, it
won't occur to us to look elsewhere. The "we don't need these customers" or
"they'll stay with us no matter what" attitude (I'm not sure which it is)
surprises me far more than the MPE EOL announcement.
