I haven't seen anyone wearing a gun on their hip yet. But if the law has
changed in Idaho you can go to AZ and wear a gun on your hip. I use to see
it all the time. Now they get concealed gun permits so you don't know if
they're packing; in AZ that is.

'deed it is so. For an unspecified (for my own protection) period, I
"contracted" in Denver while retaining Idaho as residence. Custom Idaho
plates were very much cheaper than the standard Colorado tags.
When I lived in NM, I had custom NM tags reading +IDAHO+ where "+" is the
"Zia" sun symbol. On vacation in Idaho, I was received with great suspicion
by a number of untravelled, uneducated rednecks (as opposed to the laudible
travelled and educated rednecks.)
In the same vein, even in So Cal, I received some grief about wearing a
soviet army dress belt (mimento from Berlin days) to hold up my jeans. I
would dearly love to acquire a DDR belt, which is actually a lot more
neat-o than the soviet.
Q: Can I still ride my motorcycle in Idaho, with a revolver on my hip, and
not get hassled? I used to be able to do that, and the only people who even
looked at me funny had out-of-state plates.

Since you brought this up. I left AZ a year ago, with 3 vehicles. I just
registered my Malibu, here in ID, for 2 years. The fees for 2 years were
about one-third of the cost for one year in AZ.
