Hi Roy,

I checked the newsguy.com news server where the messages are originally
posted and Kevin's reply to Donna has only a blank line followed by
the HP3000-L footer. The original Listserv message did in fact have
content (as seen in Donna's replies). I'll go back through what logs
I have to see if "something" happened although I don't remember seeing
anything odd yesterday. I'm sorry I didn't see your earlier message
referencing a similar issue as I didn't read that thread. :)

Regards,
Michael L Gueterman

HP3000-L/comp.sys.hp.mpe issues?

According to what I see here: (with two different newsreaders, from two
different news servers)
Kevin Smeltzer wrote:

(i.e. exactly nothing).

And yet Donna (who I would surmise is on HP3000-L) clearly got a valuable
and helpful posting here.

This happened (and I remarked upon it) with a posting from Phil Yantis (see
the thread/topic/subject OT: Friday Thought for the Day), which also came to
me empty, though I saw his follow-up clearly enough.

Could some kind soul check if these messages are being mangled in the
gateway, or wherever?

And could, perhaps, a few kind souls confirm this is a 'content seen on
HP3000-L, not seen on comp.sys.hp.mpe' issue, and not something more
complex?
