The Bluestone App Server is a J2EE(Java) compliant app server, which in a
sense is the arch enemy of MS's .Net suite. I think MS would be the last
to show an interest in this package. They would have to eat alot of crow
if they even made reference to it.

Earlier in the week, the following link "rumors" that Oracle may have an
interest in HP Middleware:

http://www.infoworld.com/articles/hn/xml/02/06/06/020606hnoraclebuy.xml

I believe the article states that they are interested in the EJB(Enterprise
Java Beans) container.

Just my 0.02
