Ahh... I have tried to block out "board swapping". About 12 years ago, on
our old Series 68, we had an untraceable error that resulted in about a
week of board swapping. After several late nights of TurboImage chain
rebuilding, and a rather hostile group of managers, HP finally replaced the
entire computer with new boards - which Fed Ex temporarily lost, but found
it rather quickly when it was brought to their attention that the lost
package was insured for over $100,000.

I never much did care for board swapping, but at least when all else
failed, HP, as I mentioned, had no problems with replacing the entire box,
which I think qualifies as pretty gosh darn good support.
