ON topic part: As of yet nobody has posted anything the LJ-3300 series that I
inquired about.  perhaps no one has one yet?  A thought... From a NON-Windows
platform (are there such things?) how would you control the fax modem,
scanner, etc.?  Somehow there must be extensions to PCL to do this kind of
thing.  Does documentation exist?  This situation applies to all the
multi-function devices.
