Hi Everyone,

I just upgraded a 969/400 from 6.0pp2 to 7.0 express 1, and can't get
Apache to run.
The error_log file has dozens of messages like this:

[Wed May 29 19:17:50 2002] [alert] (22)Invalid argument: setuid: unable
to change to uid: -1

Am I missing something with the uid/gid of the Apache account?

I'm using the JHTTPD job stream that installed with the default version
on 7.0, so I'm getting the new umask command that is included there.
Also, I have checked my httpd.conf file to make sure it's still valid --
and it seems to be.

I checked the version of the server:
/APACHE/PUB/ HTTPD -v
Server version: Apache/1.3.14 (HP MPE/iX A.02.00)
Server built: Apr 2 2001 11:58:16

I checked telnet access to the box, and that works, so the INETD job
seems to be running correctly.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
