It doesn't address migration to specific compilers, but I recommend the
section on "Portability" in the chapter on "Programming Practices" in the HP
COBOL II/XL Programmer's Guide, pages 3-30 through 3-34.  See especially the
section on HP Extensions.  Compiling with STDWARN will flag many of the
things that might have to be changed.
