There have been a few programs and articles, as of late, depicting the
Atlantic Conveyor Belt or Gulf Stream and how fresh water (flood of the
Hudson or Iceburgs) shuts it down when the temperature goes up too much.

We would go Ice Age in decades if it gets to that point (according to the
PBS special, or was it the discovery channel?).
