Brian,
Curiosity motivated me to try and determine what indication is added to the
HPSWINFO file. I got the recommended files and went through the steps of
creating the needed CSLT tape, without eventually updating from it.
Below are the records added to the HPSWINFO file (allow for appropriate
names and time stamps):
AUTOPAT - Patches below installed by Paul Christidis TUE, MAY 21, 2002 1
Patch ID SR Number - Module Identity Timestamp

STRSL 2.1-??? CLEAN/TRANSLATE SL.PUB.SYS TUE, MAY 21, 2002 11:01 AM

Last week Rene Wok from Adadger posted a message with the
solution to the REX compile failure on OS 6.5. Can anyone tell
me exactly what lines are put into HPSWINFO by AUTOPAT when
installing the fix for the bad OCTed SL?
I need to prove to my system admins that they have not installed
this patch. Just showing them that I still cannot compile my
REX programs is not proof enough.
Thank you,
Brian Crandall
