(After Craig after Rene>
A tip of my "MPE" hat to Rene... Susan started having compilation
problems "out of the blue" last Monday after all her REX programs had
compiled successfully the Friday before. Her site had been on 7.0 since
January, 2002, but we don't have a system with 6.5 or 7.0(HP-IB based
situation) to allow for testing, not that I would have come up with anything
close to Rene's answer. After reviewing many scenarios including contacting
the Response Center, I suggested she post her problem to HP3000-l and we
might get some insight. Rene rode in and the rest is history...

           Thanks Rene....
