Dr. Barbara Medley of the Center for Applied Social Research has been
awarded $3,300 from Chattanooga Endeavors to conduct a public opinion
survey.

Chattanooga Endeavors is an agency whose mission is to help restore
ex-offenders to productive roles in society.  They offer training,
counseling and educational programs to help ex-offenders find employment
and to "live within the law."  This particular survey will provide data to
determine the effectiveness of Chattanooga Endeavor's marketing efforts as
well as helping to define their position in the Chattanooga area.  The
survey results will assist in fundraising and serve as a means to
determine the impact on actual and perceived levels of
public safety.
