There will be network service interruptions for a few evenings next week as
we re-engineer our network to prepare for future growth, security, and
redundancy of our network infrastructure.  Below is a list of buildings that
will be affected by these changes and what services will be down during this
maintenance time.

Frist Hall from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Monday May 6, will be unable to reach any
network services (web, email, ASIS, reflections, IRIS, network printing,
etc.) either on campus of off.

Holt Hall from 6:00PM to 7:30PM, Tuesday May 7, will be unable to reach any
network services (web, email, ASIS, reflections, IRIS, network printing,
etc.) either on campus of off.

Hunter Hall from 7:30PM to 9:00PM, Tuesday May 7, will be unable to reach
any network services (web, email, ASIS, reflections, IRIS, network printing,
etc.) either on campus of off.

Race/Hooper Hall from 8:00PM to 10:00PM, Wednesday May 8, will be unable to
reach any network services (web, email, ASIS, reflections, IRIS, network
printing, etc.) either on campus of off.

On Saturday May 10, the entire campus will not be able to reach the any
external Internet sites (www.intel.com, www.yahoo.com ...) from
approximately 1:00PM until the latest 5:00PM due to some re-routing of off
campus traffic.  During this time on Saturday you will be able to reach on
campus services except for www.utc.edu, sending email to off campus
entities, or communicating with any other place that does not exist on the
UTC campus network.
