Hi All,
I'm in a jam and hope someone out there has a solution.
I wrote a script in MPEX and am testing it. The script is a fancier DBADGALT and I have to do a couple of extra steps over and above the vanilla.
The symptoms are:
* Runs fine most nights.
* Hits a :
---------------------------------------------------
No MPE-named files found in file set. (CIWARN 431)
TOO MANY FILES OPEN (FSERR 71)
Error: Doing Fopen of VESOFTJI/.PUB.SYS.
---------------------------------------------------
* Runs the script again and then hangs.
* The job cannot be aborted and seems to use lots of CPU and no disc I/O.
As far as I can tell, there are no database changes, so most of the script is bypassed.
Someone here recalls that there is a JCW in MPEX to fix this, but I can't find it.
Any help is appreciated.
Dave
