If you want to try with an earlier OpenLDAP version that works (can
be built) on MPE/iX, you can find one at one of the following sites:

 http://invent3k.external.hp.com/~LARS.APPEL
 http://www.editcorp.com/personal/lars_appel

Note, however, that it is only OpenLDAP version 2.0.7 or somesuch.
Oh, and it does not build the whole package, just selected parts of
it (like server, libraries and command line tools like ldapsearch).
